Jennifer Garner was so unimpressed with Hollywood’s grand homes, that she chose to construct her own, drawing motivation from her Southern roots.
Though it’s been finished for a few years now, Garner just recently chose to share her sanctuary with the world. In the latest issue of Architectural Digest, the starlet provided a complete tour of her home, total with the story of how it came to be.
Nestled in the hills of Westside Los Angeles, Garner’s home “seems like a warm accept,” which is precisely what Tennessee-based husband-and-wife architect and interior designer duo Steve and Brooke Giannetti were going for.
” She wanted a brand-new, warm, family home,” Steve told Architectural Digest, including that he drew inspiration from Garner’s youth memories of life in West Virginia. “I had this idea of producing something that felt like a farmhouse and a barn. We desired natural wood, coziness– a sort of warm accept of a house for her since she’s such a lovely individual.”
